Bike Night

Join us this Thursday night for the unavailing of Ferndale's first on-street bike parking rack, transforming space for one car into space for 14 bicycles! The rack is being created by Ferndale artist Richard Gage and will be one-of-a-kind as well as the first of six planned for spaces throughout Downtown Ferndale. This rack will be installed on the south side of West Nine, just north of Planavon, near Western Market. To celebrate, we will be serving our new Hawaiian salsa, an assortment of bruschetta, our freshly-squeezed lemonade and our famous guacamole!

Mother’s Day is almost here, and we’re your one-stop-shop for everything you need to show your mom how special she is.  Many of our wines are on sale, as well as our flower bouquets.  Stop in and pick up some chocolates, and don’t forget to grab a Michigan-made Mother’s Day greeting card.  Also, our greenhouse is open for business.  We have so many flowers and fresh herbs, we couldn’t even fit them under one canopy!

Cinco de Mayo is upon us.  Western Market has everything you need to gear up for this festive weekend!  From beer to guacamole, you’ll be able to check off everything on your list when you leave here.  Chef Steuart has been hard at work preparing a South-of-the-border style feast that will be available this weekend.  Make sure to pick up some of our house-made guacamole and our new house-made pico de gallo.  What’s guac and pico without chips?  We have Michigan made Garden Fresh tortilla chips stacked right when you enter the store.  Try some Michoacana corn and flour tortillas- another fine Michigan product!

It seems that we’ve been getting a lot of attention lately, from just the right place: you!  We do our best to bring to our beloved community the freshest local produce and meat we can find.  We’re constantly expanding our selection of Michigan products, and try to interact with other local businesses as much as we can.  Apparently, all of our hard work has paid off!  We’re so glad you appreciate us as much as we appreciate you.  Thanks for your votes!
